If anyone is interested to read some more about some of the tribes we visited in Southern Mindanao, check out this e-book. I haven't had time to browse it yet, but it was written in 1913 by the curator of Malayan Enthology.

After finishing our Peace Corps service, KC and Lora have decided to do a little roaming around in SE Asia. We chose to use this blog with linked pictures to let you know and see what we are doing on the other side of the world. Since we are traveling together and since internet cafes drain both precious time and money, we will only be keeping one blog for the both of us. Hopefully we will both be better at updating this than we were with our infrequent e-mails.

- Lora and KC met in the Philippines while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers. We are both environmental biologists by education and were assigned as Coastal Resource Management Volunteers. KC was in Bohol and Lora in Panay. We both greatly enjoyed living in a different place and adapting to a different culture. Since that time we have traveled a bit in SE Asia and settled a few places for a short stay. We will eventually make our way back home but who knows when???
